about
In high school I discovered I had a love for photography. I was intrigued by the mystery and science of how a photograph worked from the settings on my camera, to the final product of the photograph on Kodak paper.
Continuing this love, I graduated from Texas Tech University with a photography degree and my curiosity was fulfilled when developing my own film and photographs on archival paper. The mystery was solved, and the time in the darkroom was like therapy.

I met my husband at Texas Tech University in 2001, and we got married in 2003. We have been married for 14 years now with two handsome and cute little boys.
I am a balloon and my husband is the string. I am somewhat of a hippie child and wanderer. He is grounded and well organized. He helps me not float off too far and get lost and I help him be a little more spontaneous. Together we are a perfect pair.
Favorites include: running, cooking, biking, and traveling to Colorado.
My passion for photography continues on to the relationships of the people I'm photographing. The genuine love when a groom sees his bride for the first time cannot be duplicated. The gentle touch from a baby holding on to his mama melts your heart. I love these moments. The real moments. The raw and sweet, and authentic, and crazy and wild moments.
