Now that school is back in full swing, what is your go-to meal for busy nights? I’m in a slump for dinner ideas.

Ben made a crockpot meatloaf with potatoes and carrots the other day we had piano for Benson, football for Ben and Liam and my college class in the evening. It was a busy day. Thanks to him though, it was WAY less stressful than it could have been. All because we planned ahead. And let me just say, that meatloaf was amazing. 🤤

As a lifestyle commercial and portrait photographer, my go-to lens is my 50mm f1.2. I use it 95% of the time. It's a great lens to use for portraits, landscapes, and stills. It creates a normal perspective...meaning you have the ability to shoot what you see.

It's also a great traveling lens, because it gives you just the right crop for your image. For example, step back a little to gain more in your frame, or step in towards your subject to get closer.

The other 5% of the time I use my 85mm f1.2 lens. It's a great portrait lens.

Occasionally I will also use 24 mm f 1.4 lens when I want to include more landscape, or working with a large group of people in small spaces.

My wishlist lens is a 35mm lens. In terms of composition, the 35mm lens is the closest to the focal composition of the human eye. That is why it is used so often in movies because it gives a much more realistic vantage point for the viewer. If I had this lens, I'm pretty sure my 50 mm would get retired.
