Installment #3 (I think) of Gab.The Artist

Gab's session aloud me to be more creative than normal with senior sessions. We thought outside the box. I have lots of favorites I want to share with you, and I'll be doing them in different groups. Here is another of Gab, the artist.Click here to see the first post of instax film

Kelsey.Senior.New Mexico Photographer

Kelsey is a sweet spirited girl. I did her session the day I found out my car had been broken into and my purse and keys were stolen. This all happened in the driveway of our new house in our "safe" neighborhood.I was distracted and flustered and just wanted to cry when I realized this had happened, and this was all going on as I was in the car driving (with spare keys) to Kelsey's house. Kelsey, her mom and sister were so sweet towards me and compassionate as I'm sure they could tell I was feeling a little fragile. It took me a bit to get out of my funk, but because of their sweet, tender hearts I was able to forget about it all for the moment I was with them. Thanks girls for a fun session that day. God provided the perfect group of people for me to be around that afternoon. This first one is of Kelsey and her sister :)

Where O Where...

Do we get our inspiration from? Here are my inspiration ideas I used on this particular image for Gab's senior session. Inspiration for this image: -Gab was first of all my inspiration for this session. She is creative, therefore I wanted something very creative for her session. -magazine images of models jumping -JCrew -Anthropologie (that is my new fun circle rug from anthro) -newspaper idea came from a fun backdrop I found from an editorial photographer, then we added our own flare with the pattern paper which was designed by Gab. -I wanted something care free, so we used the pom poms to add a soft touch.

Looking back on 2009

I started looking back on all of my 2009 weddings and sessions and I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of my clients and friends who supported me in 2009. I've grabbed some 30 plus favorites, but I want you to know that I have 100s. I would list all of them, but the dishes in the sink are calling my name and they HAVE to get done :)Enjoy some of my favorites from 2009 and again, thank you all so much for a blessed year.

You can also see some of my most favorites in the flash header at the top of my blog! And feel free to take a look through my archives of 2009.
